I did the East Silver Lake walk in Walking L.A.. Man, I am a bit sore. That was over two miles of going up hills and climbing stairs. I am seriously amazed that it involved that much climbing -- much better than a stair stepper! I have been rather homesick for London the past couple weeks. Part of me always misses London, but these feelings have been quite close to the surface. It's not a I'm-so-homesick-I-cry feeling (which, believe me, I have had), just a feeling that I miss it and am in the wrong place.

I blame the heat. It was freakin' hot this week.

What the shit? It is midnight and the nearby Church has its bells ringing like crazy. They have been for the past three minutes with insane chiming and ringing. It's midnight, yo! What is up with that?

Now some of the dogs have join in and are howling with it. Okay.

I went on a long walk today. Accidentally. We started off with brunch at the end of the hill, but ended up at Echo Park in pedal boats. Yay! I love pedal boats.

I ended up clocking about 6 miles today. I missed urban walks. I even bought a book on LA walks called--wait for it--Walking LA. Yup. Going to try some.
