I really liked this girl, and pursued her for months. The thing is, she never said no but never quite said yes. She seemed weird, which I really liked. But then later on I realized her weirdness was a cover-up for her problems. She wouldn't ever open up to me, and I tried and tried and tried to figure her out and open her up to me. I finally ( Read more... )

I mean, she kind of vaguely addressed them, but she just wouldn't give anything, she just would take take take, with no giving. And that sucks. it wasn't like a relationship...but I mean, all I wanted was a date with her, and it took her so long and then I finally got frustrated and told her why I think she is the way she is, and she got real mad.

in my experience, most wierdness has stemmed from serious underlying problems...usually insecurity, but that can be a big one to affect how a person is in a relationship, or friendship.

I know, I am weird myself, so I must have some serious issues as well, which i know I do. I've just never met anyone so closed off emotionally in every way.

Maybe she just didn't want to deal with her problems with you? I had the same issue, you know. And I've generally found that when the answer isn't no and isn't yes, then you should run like hell and never look back because the person is a fucking basketcase.

no, apparently not with anyone. She said there were other guys in line, that have been after her longer than me, and she acted the same to them. She just has some issues.
