Once upon a time I had a rubber stamp business called True West Designs. From 1990 to about 2002, I created line drawings of horses and other animals and made rubber stamps out of them. When I started making stamps  in 1990, there were only a handful of art stamp companies out there and it hadn't caught on nationwide.

Here are a couple pictures of our day in Yosemite. (I'm at the Susan Sarback workshop now.) The weather was absolutely perfect in Yosemite, lots of water roaring over the falls and down the river. I entered three oil paintings in a juried art show, and all three paintings were accepted! It is an all horse art show at the Horse Expo in Sacramento, California June 10-12.  Here are the paintings, just back from the framer. All are 16" x 20".

I saw my first hummingbird of the season in our yard this past weekend. He was enjoying the blossoms in the apple tree (see previous posting for photo of apple tree). He was hard to photograph with my digital camera but I got him when he sat still for a minute.

The tree blossoms are two weeks later this year than in 2004, and they are peaking right now as I type. Though Montana is known for it's beautiful mountain vistas, some of my favorite scenes are the in-town views. Here is spring in my yard, most of the photos taken just a few minutes ago.
