Fourth Of July Photo Contest
I have entered a photo contest that is put on by the local newspaper, The Aspen Times. Did You Know Sir Anthony Hopkins Is A Painter?
Anthony Hopkins was in an Aspen art gallery last night for the opening night of an exhibit of his paintings. We thought it would be interesting to see, but honestly I wasn't expecting much. There are celebrities out there fetching high prices for their art only because they are famous for something other than art.

Two Dirtballs
Our horse, Secret Of The Sea is boarded at a big ranch just a few minutes away from where we live. He has never seen such lush grass, nor has he been in this big a pasture. It's great. We visited him yesterday and took photos. He was standing in a dirt corner, despite the acres and acres of green grass at his disposal. The pinto mare in the photo ( Read more... ) -

Last week was the 25th annual Food and Wine Classic in Aspen, a huge event that we did not attend, but we enjoyed the fireworks on Aspen Mountain which kicked off the event.
