Hi! First of all I am very glad you like the story, for what it is. I have had the bare bones of the idea, of two friends, the one who kills her husband and the other in some way complicit with the murder, but it was only when I started to write this that it really started to develop more.

I really liked the description of the prison, it seemed very realistic. I mean to say they seemed like things a real person would perceive and describe, while still quite evocative. I also liked how easily you built up the persona. I find myself wondering what she is in prison for, and of course why she is being ignored. The fact it is a response ( Read more... )

I finally finished 'Human Traces' the book that has obsessed me for the past few weeks. I chose an OTP with such a rocky journey it makes R/T look like an adorable romcom. Miscarriage, poverty, suicide, adultery, war. It was a fantastic book, but genuinely quite harrowing ( Read more... )
