Accidentally burning the office down because I forgot about the five pounds of sweet potatoes I was somewhat illicitly baking in the office oven would probably not have been the best way to ring in the end of my third full week here, so it's a really good thing I wasn't in any danger of any of that.

Hope everyone who celebrates is having a lovely day! November is an odd time to have moved to another country, and I haven't quite gotten to the point of having a set group of friends here yet, so it was really excellent to have not one but two different coworkers invite me over for Thanksgiving. Public service announcement: you should be watching How I Met Your Mother. I love that show. I'm still a little ways into season two but I have been absolutely adoring it.
