Last week
Mostly I dealt with things as they happened (snow, broken car windshield, having a cold), and fed lots of people.
It was not satisfying, but then I relaxed most of the day yesterday (and did satisfying snowing shoveling), so that was all good. Also I read a book. (Have I mentioned how much I am loving Okorafor? Everyone who likes YA fantasy ( Read more... ) -
State of the Meg
Hmm, that worked surprisingly well. I charted out my priorities for the week, then did the important things! Now I need to repeat this trick this week. So now I'm on track for a bunch of big hard projects. Woot!
Smiles is having a big problem with separation. There's a lot of screaming. Solutions are being worked on.
Yoga is awesome. -

I've gotten enough sleep, mostly. Despite the cold I have. Now I just have too many things to do, but that's the normal state of things. Also my foot isn't better yet, but I've put off going to the doctor, as I have too many things to do. (Hmm, that trick doesn't work very well.) State of the Meg
ringrose is home! I didn't exercise daily while he was gone. (The day when it took so long to get to the gym that by the time I got there I only had time to shower sort of did me in. Although I did make it to a hard yoga class.) Eleven days is still my maximum streak. I also had a couple of colds, so I'm ok with that result. Back on the bandwagon now ( Read more... ) -

Thanksgiving mini review

Bodies are hard work
Smiles is almost getting enough sleep these days. She gets clingy in the afternoon, but she gets through it. (She's still not napping, unless we go for a drive at exactly the right time, which we did on her birthday successfully, but less successfully on Halloween.)
