The last time I ordered shaving supplies from the intertubes, I got a 12-blade sampler pack to try a bunch of different blades.
Like the soap, there is a difference.
The one I'm running this week seems especially good compared to others I've tried. We'll see how the others in the pack run, but at the moment, Derby Extra is the winner for me. -

This evening I was a visitor to the Caroline town board meeting. You see, they're building a new town office building (next to the current town office/courthouse). They want to put in an actual phone system instead of having separate lines for each office. I recently got down to the dregs of the Col Conk shave soap I bought back at the beginning of the summer. The Trumansburg grade 7/8 band is doing a fundraiser to support their spring trip to see a live musical theatre production (the exact show hasn't yet been determined). I'm sitting in the boarding area at the Tompkins County airport, ready to hop a plane to Philly, and then on to Phoenix so I can attend Astricon 09.
Looks like the plane just came in from Philly, pretty much on schedule, so maybe that will be a good omen for a smooth flight schedule. -
