Took both Smudge and Mitsi to the vet yesterday and both got clean bill of health. :) Both had to get a Bordatello shot but poor Smudge also needed his distemper and parvo along with some blood drawn for a heartworm check. I asked them to also express Mitsi's anal glands as she had been scooting around the rugs a bit. I also asked the vet how old ( Read more... )

I have a very thin new budgie that seems to eat nothing but seed. How can I put some weight on him if all he will eat is seed? Any suggestions on getting him to broaden his dietary horizons?

This weekend I noticed this brown spot on Daisy. I called the vet but they only have a wed morning appointment since everyones coming in for heartworm stuff. I keep googling and theres just too much to read.
Shes still eating and playing perfectly.... has anyones dog ever had something like this?

my dog demond who is chihuahua he usally has trouble with his neck swelling up well he will get exsited or drink water and start to cough and start having spit come up well last night he keep me up from 3am to 5 am with his coughting does anyone have a dog that does this and if so what do you do about it to help stop it we do take him to the vets ( Read more... )

well yesterday my partner and i went to south of the boarder and we found in one of the stores a perfect hat for our chihuahua demond we bought him a little sobaro and his own little mexico flag to hang on the wall with his name on it and we are going to put his hat right above it so here is some pics of them

Theodore turned 3 on New Year's Day.  On May 2nd we had to have Sinbad (7 1/2 year old chow/shar pei mutt) PTS.  Ever sense Sinbad has been gone Theodore growls at everybody, human & animal.  He doesn't snap or go after them, just growls.  He doesn't even get up or anything.  I thought maybe he just missed Sinbad & would go back to normal, but he ( Read more... )
