So I caught the flick. It was pretty good, but I came away disappointed. It's probably my own fault, I'd hyped this movie up so much in my head that it was inevitable that I'd be let down.

The wife and I visited some friends in LA this week, apparently we got out of there just in time. Yeesh.

That sucks. They came in through a window, but the only thing they seem to have taken is our camera. It was a nice camera, but still, there was a lot of other stuff here. So a week or two ago I installed quicktime on my new boxen and tried to watch a .MOV, and my machine crashed. When I booted back up my RAID reported bad disks, but it booted. Retried with a .AVI, same thing. A quick Google search demonstrated that this has come up for pretty much everyone running a RAID and Vista ( Read more... )
