So I was thinking ..

Today is Christ's birthday. I want books on him.

I don't really celebrate Christmas like most of you do, but I did get something for someone.. it's not much, but I hope you like it regardless.

Actually, Anthony, a serious question, if I may.

Do Jewish people celebrate Boxing Day?

I've always wondered.

Oh.

I suppose I should return the presents I purchased for you, then.

You could always read the Bible, if you wanted. I do imagine there's a great deal about the Christian Messiah in that one.

Merry Christmas, Anthony.

I still don't like that Christ bloke, he seems like a bad egg. Why does everyone have to pollute Christmas with this whole Christ thing? Can't it just be about Santa Claus's phyrric victory in the great Elf Wars of old?

Is it not enough that Santa's victory at the North Pole, while ensuring that elfs would be subservient to humans, meant Santa would have to atone for the terrible atrocities he committed by delivering presents to all children for the rest of his extended life?

You haven't even met Christ!

I haven't met Cornelius Fudge either, but I know he's a prick. I've seen enough of Christ's propaganda to know what a jerk he is.

I don't know, Terry. I've always thought it was the case that the vast majority of the apparatus that sprang up around Christ did so after he died. It's not fair to blame him for what his followers (many of whom undoubtedly were jerks) put together.
