Students
So, I am also teaching nursing students now. It is SUPER fun! I am teaching their very first lab as nursing students. It is sooo fun to watch them learn and grow. The first lab we just taught them to take vital signs. Oi vey! Some of them didn't know how to check a radial pulse. Poop
On a dark and stormy night not too long ago we had 2 psych patients in the department. We'll call them Bob and Tom. Tom is paranoid and angry; a bad combination for sure. New Job
So, I've finally got a new fulltime home... Sort of. It turns out the one place I want to work is quite popular. Any other ER in the area would have hired me on the spot and given me a signing bonus. This place it took me 4 months to get an interview and I could only get hired on part-time (for now, that will probably change). Turns out I am ( Read more... )
