So here we are a year later.  It's been an interesting year, having lost  my biggest focal point, casting about for something as important; my  marriage comes close, but isn't so monumental a charge.  Still, every  day I catch myself making room for mom in my life.  It's been quite an  adjustment.

As I’ve no-doubt said, I’ve been vacillating about selling the camper rather than pursue a life of campgrounds and potential hairy eyeballs. We took the Shasta to Provincetown for Bear Week.

Not being big party-goers, the non-stop party atmosphere was, well, not us, really.  Still, it was relaxing and relatively entertaining for a couple of old farts.

I don't know that we'll go again, though, as it was pretty much the same deal this year as last year, only without the newness.

Had a wonderful long weekend, which included all the house/yard work on Friday, a day of slump on Saturday (what with the foul weather), and a day of finishing up the improvements to the camper/caravan on Sunday.

I've updated the wet bath in the camper from having white vinyl panel-covered walls to smooth, shiny aluminum.  It was a heck of a job ( Read more... )
