I'm on the search for some medicinal tea--specifically, tea that will help with headaches. I've been suffering from migraines and am willing to try anything while I'm waiting around for my allergy tests and new doctor's appointment. I thought I'd share this recipe since I haven't done that much for this comm! (Ah, cry cry.) My lemongrass has grown so tall it now competes with the roof of my back porch and it has two large seed heads I'm going to clip and cultivate. Would anyone like any of the seeds? I kid you not when I say the blades are well over six feet long and make a very refreshing tea.

I love the tea from TeaTech (yes, I know it's advertised as Jackie Chan's tea) because it's just powdered green tea in single serve containers like those Crystal Light packets. Much better than soda, Crystal Light or sugar-free Kool-Aid. I can empty a packet into a bottle of water at work and easily drink green tea all day. The plain fifteen ( Read more... )

I bought myself a new teapot for Mother's Day! It's a clear teapot and it came with 12 different kinds of flowering teas. So far I have had 2 and they are so beautiful and fun to watch. So the time has come for a new teapot - mine has developed a crack in it that will shatter if I continue to use it.

I usually get a glass one from adagio, but I'm looking for everyone's favorites. I got glass originally because I liked to see the color change as it brewed. What teapot do you use?
