I could write hundreds of words about how extremely amazing, incredibly fantastic and utterly fabulous this story is, but I'll make it short and just say that I agree with all the positive comments you've gotten so far.

I'm especially happy that you used the word "Großmeister" and even spelled it correctly. (I'm German.) I don't know how good you are at German, but if you should want to use some additional German words or phrases and aren't sure if they're correct, I'd be happy to help you!

I just might take you up on that offer! :) Yes, I spent some time on the internet trying to figure out a suitable name for Mikhail. I chose that name because it's the name of a chess grandmaster on Wikipedia (though forgive me, I can't recall his last name). They had the German spelling for the word grandmaster right next to the name, and I was all, "NEAT!!" :)
