Unbelievable. Tulsa is one game away from the Big dance. They've won 3 straight tournament games. Before Thursday, I don't think they had won a conference tournament game since my freshman year. Awesome. And now they just have to beat the number 3 team in the country ... in 14 hours. GO TULSA!!!!!

Every so often, I am reminded of how I wasted my youth. I was watching that new show Chuck and I thought to myself: "that girl who plays Chuck's sister sure reminds me of the girl who played Rachel on Saved by the Bell: The New Class." I check imdb and sure enough...they're the same person. I watch too much TV.

So about a week ago, I caught the last ten minutes of a Movie on Lifetime called Normal Adolescent Behavior. It looked OK from what I saw of it. Very Lifetimey. I only recognized Amber Tamblyn and that girl from One Tree Hill. It's weird the shit I remember from when I was a kid. One of my earliest memories was watching this tribute song for the troops during the first Gulf War with my brother when I was 7. I saw Transformers today. It was pretty amazing. I love Michael Bay. I never watched Transformers growing up so I don't know how faithful the film was to the source material but the Transformers are kind of irrelevant. Josh Hancock, a pitcher for the Cardinals has died. I remember exactly where I was when I heard about the deaths of Jack Buck and Daryl Kile. And I will remember this.

I just saw that David Halberstam died. I'll miss the guy. He's a legendary journalist and historian who visited TU during my Freshman year only a couple months before the Iraq War.
