There's 3 gallons of Kim Chee in my frig. Yep, that means my mother-in-law visited. The problem is - that's over a years worth of Kim Chee for us. Well maybe a couple of years supply. Julian, our son for the SCA'ers reading this post, turned a week old today.  Yesterday was our first day home.  I've never really been one of those kid people, much less a baby or infant person.  Last night I found myself laying on the bed and staring at him.  And all I could do is smile.  I am really happy he's here.

Although announced by others, I’d like to officially announce the birth of our son, Julian Alexander Hwang Venable (no hyphen).  He arrived in the world June 8, 2005 at 9:09pm at Brigham and Women’s Hospital by cesarean section after an extended labor.

Friday really sucked work wise. Essentially I had to fly to Philly for a 30 minutes presentation. And to add to this annoyance, all the flights on Friday from Philly to Boston were oversold. So I scheduled to fly from Hanscom to Trenton. Both of the flights I was scheduled for were cancelled. The morning flight was cancelled with no notice. ( Read more... )
