I remain ill. My boss let me come home early because I had no lessons. I have just discovered that I have a professional interview on Friday morning though, so I better hit the portfolio pretty hard.

So I've been infected with a dreaded lurgie, either by one of my colleagues or by the sickies at the doctors surgery. Was also so tired that I made an arse up of both my lessons today. Still to recover, I've arranged seating plans for the naughty classes. Bastards ( Read more... )

School was awful on Friday. One good class, two awful ones. I ended up running late because I had to write up an incident report on one of the knuckle-draggers who is probably getting excluded for a few days. Fortunately (?) the boats were also running late, so I didn't miss my ferry - but it was still late.

All day portfolio session yesterday. Oh so terriby exciting. I spen about 8 hours shuffling bits of paper around and then had it REVIEWED. There are three Standards that we have to address. My S1 consists of one lever arch folder full of evidence of my professionalism and was passed. My S2 is another lever arch folder full of stuff on my subject ( Read more... )

I haven't been that explosively ill for years. I've checked the foods and nothing was past it's use by date, but I spent half an hour just being sick last night. I've just sent off 20 E-mails asking for application forms/prospecti. Most of them won't arrive till Wednesday at the earliest and are due back the following friday.
