I have better documentation for my time in
New Hampshire than I do for pretty much any other state. This is in large part because all of my trips there were for work; there's a company we integrate with there so I've gone twice for API training. All I had to do was crack open my Outlook calendar, search for "NH" and write down the dates.
My first visit was on October 17, 2005. I flew into Manchester that morning, where I was picked up by a limo (really!) and driven to Nashua. I visited our partner site, and then flew back to Cleveland that night. Somewhere in the middle we had lunch (at Chili's I believe) so that made it official.
3 years later, they had a conference to launch their new product. So I flew in June 23 and back June 25. No limo this time; I got a rental car and stayed in a hotel in Nashua. In addition to the conference, I
was Superman for a while. On an amusing side note, the product in question was due to be released in August of 2008. Due to various reasons, it wasn't actually released until November of 2010. They not only missed the August but two subsequent release targets. To be fair, one of them was because the company was acquired, but still. Two years late? My company freaks out if we're two weeks late.
So anyway, that's my exhaustively documented list of my time in New Hampshire. As you can see, I didn't visit any of the state's attractions, so I certainly could justify going back to tourist it up, but it definitely counts. With only two nights, it's definitely possible that I've spent fewer nights here than any other state I slept in. Well, except Kansas, but we'll get to that in 25 weeks.
