I'm a bit disappointed to see Neil Gaiman's dismissal of objections to his friend Jonathon Ross MCing the awards ceremony, and his linking to an "explanatory" page from Rich Johnston, who feels that despite Ross's many relevant achievements (... a history of being un-PC and some parody comics?) he's "not good enough for the fans it seems, who fear ( Read more... ) -

The other night, Ellen Kushner very kindly invited me to the theater. She knew an actress who was going to be starring in a play about Russian-Jewish emigres, and did I want to come?

So on Sunday, we had drinks with friends on their deck.
