Well, now I hold the enviable status of Hong Kong resident, and I will hold that status until 29/07/2010 based on the stickers and stamps adorning a whole page of my passport. I'm leaving for HK in just over a week. Between now and then I have to supervise the re-plastering of the hall, tile the ground floor hallway, and restore as many of the doors/doorframes as I can. I have swine flu a cold. I sneezed on the bus and everyone looked at me as if I'd shouted Allahu Akbar and reached for my belt...

In other news my fiancee and all her colleagues have to wear surgical masks to work and can't tell each other apart. My father and his colleagues received a box of masks from head office in Tokyo.
