1. Sometimes, when I don't want to work on my dissertation, I watch classic TV as a kind of cultural history homework. This is the best way I can think of to explain all of the "Cheers" I have been watching. Write about television. It's not a very well kept secret that sometimes Netflix Instant makes me afraid I'll never leave my apartment again. And I feel like it's time to write about Trek.
