I ran a 61:16 10K, which translates to a 9:58 pace which means i somehow managed a PR despite not running much beforehand. What I think happened is that since I hadn't been running much i figured I should run just a tad faster than what felt like normal pace in order to still do my 10min/mi, and apparently that ended up shaving 2min/mi. alright, i'm taking the job with Pinellas Health Department. i expect to stay here for not more than a year, but i want to look into this tuition reimbursement thing for USF. need to make an appt to talk to an advisor there to look at programs.

apparently i'm running in the turkey trot 10k on thursday. i hope my uncle knows that i don't expect him to run with me the whole time. i don't like feeling pressured for pace or like i'm slowing someone else down. let's see if i do my normal 62 min time. i haven't been running as much lately, and most of my runs have only been easy 45min jogs ( Read more... )
