Is anyone as pissed off as me about the media coverage of the Ipswich murders? Just heard that legendary zombie movie director George A. Romero recently collapsed and was hospitalized. Unfortunately, no other details are available yet but I hope he will soon recover and give us another classic. Get well George!

I am gutted, because he wasn't just some crazy bloke who chased snakes and crocs, he was an enthusiastic and extremely knowledgable conservationist and seemed to be a genuinely nice bloke.
We won't see his like again.
If any of my Australian LJ friends are reading this, I give them my very sincere condolences. -
