Hi Ladies!
I spent most of Winter's naps yesterday looking online for a baby hat pattern - hers are either too big or too small. I found this tutorial and tried it out last night. It was super easy [I am not an accomplished sewer by ANY means] and I was pleased how it turned out.

Leaving

I'm going to be leaving the community, Friday I suffered a miscarriage after going to the Emergency Room for some cramping and bleeding. Hopefully in due time I'll have a successful pregnancy. I was one day shy of seven weeks.

A site I love: The coolest nursery on the block Ella never had a real nursey, since we lived in a tiny house when she was born, and she is a cosleeper anyway, but now that we have the room, I would really like to set up a 'nursery' for the baby (that more than likely would just end up a playroom for the kids). I met with the midwife for the first time yesterday and really like her. Our midwife last time was fully competent, but very clinical and business like. Cathy, the new midwife, is the touchy-feely earth-mama that I am really drawn to, and i am excited to learn as much as I can about birth from her. Yay, so I was able to schedule my first baby appointment!! It's going to be on the 17th!! Now I just have to figure out the Kaitlyn situation. I didn't have to confirm the pregnancy with a blood test afterall, they must have changed their policy. Yay, I'm so glad I looked it up online today!

Learning the sex?

I know it's still early, but do you plan to learn the sex of the baby? Tom and I are already at odds about this, since I do not want to learn, and he really does.
