I used to read, among piles of other comics, a handful of manga. My favorite among them was Beck, a fun bit of guydrama about an no-name indie rockband trying to be something bigger than a no-name indie rockband. I've been doing an awful lot of thinking about writing recently. For the past couple years I've been mulling over a bit of genre fiction that would make for, I think, a fine comic book. It's all started to come together in the past month; I have a solid core of characters and ideas I like, and they're fitting quite comfortably in their world.
