Yeah, homophobia is an unfortunate fact of life. I've had to put up with it growing up in my small town and I had to put up with it from my girlfriend's somewhat larger city. I don't get it as much where I live now. People are dumb. That is why John gets so angry about it. And me too. Grr.

Gaahhhh!! Ok, I so didn't see that coming. Jesse just realizes he's falling in love with Brian and then this? I cried right along with him. I know it's realism and that's good...life ain't perfect baby...but this just so was a punch in the chest.

I just love the way your write. Quick question...John takes Trig and Jesse takes Algebra? In the beginning I thought they were both working on Trig homework. I'd go back and read it again I need to recover.

Gah! Trig vs. Algebra, I'm not sure. I think I was just thinking they were taking general maths with, like, a chapter on trig and a chapter on algebra. I think I remember covering both in my eleventh grade general math course. It's been a few years since then, though, so I might be mistaken.

Thanks for your lovely comments. I try to make it as realistic as possible, and I like keeping people on their toes. Poor Jesse, though. I hate seeing his heart broken, too.

Hopefully next chapter sooner rather than later, but you know how real life gets in the way so often? Yeah, it's doing that again.
