Okay, I have heard a story of a fire department in Tennessee failing to respond to a house fire and only positioning apparatus (i. e. fire trucks) to protect surround homes that had paid their dues (read protection money). For the record, I don't support burning the Koran. It's ignorant and hypocritical and brings back images of 1930s Nazi Germany and the Inquisition. That "preacher" has made himself, his church, and his congregation all targets and is really doing more harm than good. And the scholar in me just doesn't like to see books on fire no matter the culture ( Read more... ) -
