Bruschetta was very successful.  The only task that took any significant time and effort was roasting the garlic cloves then finely chopping them in a blender that wasn't very effective at mincing up such a small quantity.  The minced roasted garlic was mixed into 16oz of cream cheese, and a single big red tomato was put into the blender to mix ( Read more... )

Vacation consisted of a seven-day period in which I did not work (another nice thing about my job -- if I take a two-day work set off, I get seven days off in a row), and all seven days were spent on the road though I was home at night for a couple of them.
