Also, this is the first year since 1999 that I have not had any academic-type examinations in the month of May. And unless my employer springs a calculus paper on me next week (very unlikely) there will be no exams at all. For the first time this century! Party like it's... well, you get the idea.

Yahoo! After more than 6 months of being an expensive hipster paperweight, I have very nearly fixed my old G3 iBook by replacing a cable and (tomorrow) lightly baking the video chip with a heat gun. Unlikely solution, but the proof is in the picture on the screen.

Ah, it is a lovely (if not particularly warm) Spring day in the Far North. Glasgow Celtic are playing the Dundee Hibernian, I don't have to go to work and I'm enjoying the first cup of tea of the day. I just fancied reiterating to nobody that I am pretty happy today, in case I forget later.
