I did a different routine on the elliptical today. This one has two hills instead of just one. I also increased the resistance (to a whopping 2 of 10, 1 being the lowest). I got to the gym in time this morning to do a full 30 minutes. This was accidental mostly - I was talking to my gym buddy, and hit "enter" to the default time. It was fine, it just meant no time for stretching, which is unfortunate but not the end of the world ( Read more... )

I was strangely ill last night. Went home from work about around 3:30 because I was feeling headachey. I checked email, which seemed to make the headache worse, and tried to eat something. Yesterday, between the sheep shearing and dinner out, we discovered the true joy of having neither roomates nor French doors that give the entire world a view of the living room.

At this rate, the house won't be properly christened until we're ready to sell it.

I love my friends, even when they're not dressed like wanton hussies.

Kite and I went to a sheep shearing festival today! It was fun! We saw sheep being sheared! And got to pet angora rabbits! And llamas! And ALPACA! Seriously, alpaca may be the cutest adult creatures on the face of the planet. And sooo soft. If they didn't cost a fortune to raise, I'd keep them in the back yard.
