Most of today was spent on two trains and then finding out hotel but we were able to explore Venice a bit...

I think I may have found a new hobby in Paragliding. The feeling while airborne is exhilerating, and not scary at all-which I fully expected it to be.(Some of you may know that I'm scared of falling which makes me not like heights)

We went to a town called Zell Am See where we took the ski lift to the top of the local mountain, about 2000m.

A full day of Mozart

The largest Ice cave in the world was conveniently half an hour away from us...

Today was the first day of exploring Austria outside of Maria Alm where we are staying. We got up early (well 7:45 is early for me). And drove two hours to Innsbruck which has been coined "the olympic city with the golden roof."

The first thing we passed was this spire built to celebrate the successful defense of the city from Bavarian Invaders:
