...and surprise! It's cold. Alaska cold now (-47f in town, -28f on my porch). Stuff "just doesn't like to work right" cold. The ice fog (ice smog) hangs over much of town lending an eerieness to the place -a miasma of burnt wood, gas and oil (Fortunately that we live out of that frozen cloud).
