There is so much to update about, I know I'm going to forget something, but here goes. I have been terrible at keeping up with updates during the last week of IP and after being discharged. It feels like something has shifted within me. Some clarity has been shown to me and I have come to a decision. I am going to stay until my original discharge date of October 8th. A full 3 weeks. My thoughts right now are to leave the day after tomorrow. I'm still really uncertain about this and I'm honestly 50/50 right now. I will give myself until the end of the day to decide for sure. I have great news! I have been decertified! The psychiatrist who certified me just told me that now my vitals have reached baseline stability so they have decertified me. Today I might get to say goodbye to my NG tube! All I have to do is successfully complete my meal plan with minimal problems to show that I don't need to be tubed anymore. Although, I don't find it uncomfortable and it doesn't hurt my sinuses like it does some people. Sadly, they've had to insert the tube so many times on me that it's become second ( Read more... )
