My goodness, it has been a while since I’ve written.
Quick re-cap I suppose. I graduated from high-school. I broke up with my boyfriend, Thom, of 14 months in February. Started dating Darryl in April, broke up in June. Deferred my acceptance from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon for a year. Had a wonderful summer. Worked as a lifeguard.

Cats smell very good.
You can just bury your nose in their fur and everything feels better.
Then of course they start to knead your abdomen.
That's not so nice. -
School, Swim, Life.
So today was the second day of school and the fifth swim practice of the season. Both are going well. I am driving to school these days which gives me a whole new rein on freedom, though not to mention responsibility. I now realize I have no idea how to get around. Nothing can make me miss Williams more than re-reading what people wrote me in my year book last year.

I miss the innocence I've known -
Katrina.
This is horrifying! How could this happen in our so called first world country? The sadist part was the bit about how people who had dogs with them when they tried to evacuate them were told the dogs couldn't go on the buses. They had to leave there best friends behind. It makes me wonder, what would I do if something like that ever happened here ( Read more... )
