This summer is filled to the brim with things to do - but not bad or difficult things, good things! Things that require a lot of work (like moving into our new house), and things that will bring fun and adventure (like our trip to Scotland!). I just finished Mockingjay, the last book of the Hunger Games. This last book was better than I expected, and I think brought up the whole series in my mind. I raced through the first two books, because they are so very plotty and I needed to know what happens next. I've been thinking about education today, and how I enjoyed that TESL course I took and enjoyed being back in a classroom. I was so much more engaged than I'd been in past classrooms, when I was actually in school. I need to get a birthday gift for my brother. Tomorrow is his 18th birthday. Wow, time flies.

We had a presentation at work this week for the students. We have these on occasion, usually about city services or health resources.
