Just finished making a big batch of fish chowdah. How big? So big I had to run to the Common House to get a bigger pot. I'm not used to this industrial-sized cooking and now I have an unused gallon of whole milk in the fridge. What am I going to do with a gallon of whole milk? Just made it through a rather taxing week of classes. Normally I'd have all day tomorrow to unwind and pack for the trip home this weekend, instead I'm meeting with students, gathering study materials for the plane ride and ushering at a lecture on campus. Seems like every restaurant I head to that serves fries also includes some kind of pale, pinkish condiment called fry sauce. It looks like thousand island dressing, but without the relish (or, "without the islands" as Roger put it). What was the impetus behind this ghoulish concoction? It's chilly outside.
Ran some errands today - cashed my check, signed for my loan, filed for direct deposit and paid for my insurance. Finances should be good for the rest of the semester.

Started Pilates and some upper body weight training this week. You forgot how much it hurts to work out after not having worked out for a long time. And when I say hurts I mean existing in a constant state of soreness... so very very sore.
