Knitted Arwyn Tree ldyravnyarnmavn August 31 2005, 12:17:46 UTC
I know this is off topic from your post, m'dear, but I wasn't sure how else to contact you. I have been trying out your pattern for the arwyn tree and I think I've found another mistake on your chart ( ... )

Yes, you're right-there's one too many [no stitch] symbols. The second one should be a knit, so that you're working (knit 1, sl 1, k2tog, psso, knit 1) over the four knits and a purl in the previous row. I'll fix the chart accordingly.

Good luck with your tree and I hope to see pictures when you're done.

I just saw your pattern in Knitty, and I want you to know that I think your design is absolutely gorgeous. The shaping, the cables--everything is awesome.

And I just moved to the hyde park area. I was wondering about local knitting groups. Any information you have would be wonderful :)

Carol
