Jude had come to in the park with no sign of Rikku. His Rikku. He needed his Rikku and he'd make her his at last.

So to that end he was climbing the tree outside her window.

So I have some kind of viral something that's apparently going around. The doc can't give me anything for it and it should run its course in about a week, if I'm lucky.

Someone in the next building is blaring Backstreet Boys loud enough to be heard in my room and that's about the highest point of my day.

I'm going back to bed.

There were very few things in life that Jude needed. He happened to have almost all of them at the moment.

Maple Leafs jersey. Kebabs. Hockey game. Girlfriend.

Life good.

After work, Jude decided that a nap was in order before searching out someone to nap with. Well, a specific someone to nap with. So he was getting in a nice little pre-nap nap.

It wasn't hard for the underage to score something to drink on St. Paddy's in New York. And after Blair and Jude's Excellent Adventure, this jailbait needed a drink.

And then maybe another.

And then, because this is what one did after more than a bit of green beer, Jude decided that the Best Idea in the World would be to call his girlfriend.

Hey guys, sorry I've been so flaky the last couple of days. Paper season, a killer sore throat, you know how it gets. Much love and hopefully I'll be back on track by the end of the weekend - my last paper's due Monday!

Rikku didn't have class on Monday so once Jude was out, he made a quick stop at J,GoB and was soon standing in front of Rikku's door with a pastry box in his hands and knocking nervously.

Under a few tangled blankets that may or may not have been part of some kind of anti-storm tent at some point during the previous night, Jude half-woke and stretched before curling closer to the form spooned up with him. Jude rolled over and out of bed, yawning and automatically patting her bedhead into some semblance of order to make the morning shuffle down to the bathroom. She reached down to adjust her boxers and herself and patted around for a minute.
