Your post is so fantastically awesome - and I don't mean just the face on your bike in the first pic.

Good for you for doing this!

it was a professional photographer that shoots at these events and then sells the prints and cd's. of course i got the cd. ha, it's proof i did it and am still alive!

and i also want to compare my initial form to later on when i get more experience.

tl;dr, but A+ for these hot, leathery action shots.

surprisingly, a lot of the trackday organizers don't require taping up headlights or signals, at least in the C/B groups.

i like the street triple better than the brutale. i had the 750 version of the brutale and anything above 9k rpm would scare me poopless, the way it would just pull me forward; it was too much bike for me at the time. i have to admit though, when i put on the arrow exhaust and took out the db killer, nothing sounds as close to an exotic supercar like any mv agusta at full tilt.

the street triple, is physically smaller, lighter and has a much more manageable (for me) powerband compared to the I4 750 of the brutale. it's a better all around bike, whereas in the right hands, the brutale may be the better canyon carver or track bike.

why would they make your tape the headlamps and signals?

if i were to go down, it's easier to just sweep up the glass/plastic when it's a taped bundle, otherwise it could just spread all over the track and cause others to slip and potentially fall down themselves. since motorcycles only have 2 wheels, stuff like loose gravel, sand, or debris are a LOT more dangerous for us compared to a car or truck.
