Visit to Stockholm
Perversely, last weekend we left some of the best weather this summer has known for the distinctly cooler, Nordic climate of Stockholm. For my husband this was partly a business trip but for me, entirely pleasure.
Stockholm is a beautiful city, built on an archipelago, so the sea is everywhere.

Life as an extra : Day Two
Our call time (you can see I’m learning the terminology) was 8am. Arriving a little early, and having been shown where to park, pretty much the first person I saw was Elijah, wearing jeans and a denim jacket, going into the wardrobe trailer. I felt that was a good omen for the day.

Christmas films
Before Christmas I took my husband to see Happy Feet. I suspected it might be a mistake and it was. He disliked it and I did not enjoy it as much as I think I would have done had there not been negative vibes enamating from beside me. So, as a birthday treat to myself, I will see it again on Tuesday. Alone.

Happy Christmas to you all
A very Happy Christmas to all my LJ friends. You have added a new dimension to my life.
It's lovely to have all the children home, chipping in and helping. Last minute presents are being wrapped and Christmas dinner is being prepared. We are having it this evening as our eldest has to go back to work tomorrow night.
