Thank you, everyone, for your thoughts and prayers. I told you a few months ago that my great-aunt had entered hospice. Although she survived longer than was first expected, she passed sometime beforee noon today. Ever since I began considering life after college, I have alluded to Plan B (and sometimes even a Plan C). My great-aunt entered hospice today. She's 101 years old and has been a nun for over 80 years. She was understandably proud of herself when, at her 75-year jubilee, she was the only person of that group able to stand when they announced her name. We've been pen pals for...ten years?
