There’s nothing quite as exciting as being woken in the middle of the night by someone pounding on the door, is there? My BIL was out jogging, which he does, and a couple in a car started following him. The guy leaped out and accused him of being a burglar. I saw the new Spider-Man movie today, and it was kinda brilliant. Absolutely see it big screen if your comfort level/covid numbers allow.
I will say I was surprised to realize that the easter egg at the very end of the credits was the teaser trailer for the next Dr Strange movie. So you can do your bladder a favor and watch that on YouTube:

I have realized that when Purrcy gets on the desk and sits in front of my monitor, he's not looking for petting and attention. He wants me to go away so he can sleep on my desk chair! Silly cat.
My Christmas was quite lovely, waffles and gift opening at my dad's in the morning, then dinner at my brother's. I ended up with a lot of food gifts, which ( Read more... ) -

I felt like I jinxed myself when I posted several months ago that I was able to get out of bed without stopping, because then of course the next day I couldn't. But it's been a good 5 days that I've been able to put the cat food bowls down in the morning without dropping them the last few inches. I can bend all the way, yay!

Sis and I gave blood this morning, and someone finally told me I'm CMV negative, and that's why my blood can be given to babies.
(Okay, now I have to pause and go into some weird vampire baby thing in my mind, stepping away from that.)

I have actually...felt good several times lately. Which feels odd, when I stop and realize it, because there are so many things messed up in this world, this country, and in the lives of many people I know. But it's a nice feeling, even if it's weird that it feels weird.
