Thanks to aristos1 and Ran Prieur for drawing hiphop group Flobots to my attention--I actually like hiphop, but I'm picky about lyrics, and their radical hope and spirit to fight are pretty inspirational to moi. Quick update
Been in Tempe--was here to witness the Tempe tree holocaust, which was reminiscent of the Norman tree holocaust, but with 75 mph winds and intense rain and generally hurricane-like conditions instead of ice. A big tree fell down right by the porch where my lovely hostess were standing watching the madness, and this neighborhood was impassable by ( Read more... ) -

He is disgusting and he is despicable, but I think he is also one of few Christian ministers running around who realises what kind of deity he trucks with. Yep, I am talking about Fred Phelps, America's most honest Christian.
