This new job is really allowing me to catch up on my reading. I haven't had time to read Newsweek articles at work since, I think, the VSU Library. Also lots of Scramble, Wijblijvenhier.nl, and of course email. Got rained on at least three times today- it's cold and stormy, typical early-fall weather. But since we didn't really have a summer this year I feel kinda cheated, and half tempted to run away to someplace hot for a week or so. Just watched Arcade Fire on SNL doing one of their songs off Neon Bible, and just at the point where I thought,   "Man, this song is really kinda bloated and over the top," the singer smashes his guitar on the edge of the stage.  Honestly! What does he think he's in, an 80s hair band??

my brother clued me in on the joys of MICROWAVE PLASMA BALLS on youtube- OMG that is some cool stuff!
