Oh, thank you so much for giving Shirley an amazing personality in this chapter! I love when I read a really good Shirley. She's so underused and underappreciated. In her own quiet way, she has an impact on everyone in the study group -- including and especially Jeff and Annie.

I can't wait to see what Jeff will do with the conversation he and Shirley had. Looking forward to reading more!

Okay, I never would've guessed Shirley. Primarily because I couldn't imagine Jeff yelling at her. But Jeff was rather in a bit of a state so it makes sense that he wasn't acting rationally

Writing Jeff has been fun but pretty frustrating, because sometimes he doesn't even do what I want him to do. This story has basically taken on a life of it's own, and I blame Jeff being so darn impossible.

As much as I hate what Shirley said to Jeff here. I adore how This is so deliciously, wonderfully in character for her. So easy to hear her voice saying the things you have her saying. Seriously, you kill my brain every time with how awesome you write things that I hate to see happening!

HEY MAN, I'M. SAYING TO BE PATIENT with elsiesnuffin and this version of jeff. Sure he's looking for reassurance with his decision but he will and I mean will turn around and realize he loves annie. And if that doesn't make sense. I WILL MAKE UR ASS SENSE. Oh, if u want facts well in debate there was the first front of the joel and hannah argument and if I do remember u pulled out of jeff and annie's attempted sexy time when he ran out of condoms and that lead to that degree argument. Aaaaw, we get so many thoughtful and smart interactions between the characters, I love it! Even though I wished Shirley would have said something different, or that Jeff would have proved her he wasn't bad for Annie, but I guess he's not there yet.
