I was sitting in a jazz bar earlier tonight listening to the music and watching people dance. It might be the fact I'm a visual person, but what really struck me in that situation was the extent to which good dancing is a language. I've been on break for the last couple of days. Just recovering from the semester and spending some time with family, since all of us are in one place for a couple of days. cactus update
I haven't written anything in a very long time, and due to time restraints I am just popping out of radio silence just to put up a quick picture of the cactus. So I've been back in Boston for a bit, and getting ready for the start of the next academic year. Things are going well other than the weather suddenly turning for the colder. The flight over here was on JetBlue. It was my first time flying with them, I was honestly a bit worried since I figure they're a small airline so there's less wiggle room if something goes wrong. San Diego
I've been in San Diego for a little over a week, and it's been good so far. I've been walking around a fair bit and quickly developed a serious farmer's tan, which isn't a huge shock since I used to have one most of the time when I lived out here.
