Things are slow at work even with the new bridge.  I guess business is tough all over. 

My Mom and Step-dad took us all to Disney the week before Christmas.  It was awesome!  Michael and I hadn't been there in over 11 yrs.  The kids had a great time.  We had a great time in Epcot.  We discovered Gluhvine in Germany (hot spiced wine).   I wish Michael and I could have just spent a day drinking in Epcot's World Showcase.  We had to wait ( Read more... )

I know its been a long time since I posted last.  I've been on myspace.  I don't post there as often as I would ike either.   To all my friends, I miss and love you guys dearly!!!!

I have orientation for Ruth's Chris Wed.  I'm definately going.....to the orientatoin that is.  Perhaps by then I'll know for sure if I'm going or staying at the Isle.  I've been doing research on their benifits and they are good.....

I just thought of something........  Bragozzo (the fine dining Italian rest. at the Isle that I work in currently) is always closed on mondays and tuesdays.   DragonCon is friday through monday......   I could probably use some of my vacation friday through sunday.....  I could also ask boss man about the possibility of letting me go during that ( Read more... )

I'm still having trouble making a decision of whether I should stay at the Isle or go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse opening up at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi.  I've been at the Isle for the past 12 yrs and it is very hard to leave.  My  boss's boss wants me to come talk to him to see if he can get me to stay.  I said I would hear what he had to say ( Read more... )

Michael and I have been talking about finally stepping in and contributing something to the local conventions.  We propose to host a Con  Karaoke on friday night.  If anyone has any ideas to contribute let me know.  Billy has expressed interest in helping us, so it should be alot of fun. 

I'm sorry if anyone who reads this disagrees but Michael and I overall had a good time at Mobicon.  Friday did suck after what happened to Farshad.  We decided to make the most of it and stayed because we rarely get a chance away from our kids.  Plus we stayed to support those that worked hard to make Mobicon happen.  Saturday night's Bobbie ( Read more... )
