Really busy weekend and rather sunburned. I knew it would be a busy weekend, but wow! I look forward to getting the downtime this coming weekend. I really exhausted my socialibility this last weekend and think I need to be a hermit this coming weekend or I will become grouchy ( Read more... ) -

So my divorce "Case Management Conference" is scheduled for 12/24/09. I need to reschedule it, hopefully I can get 01/07/10. So I guess what ACTUALLY happens is that you don't get your conference until 6months and 1 day after filing for divorce. THEN they start the process. A new year, a new life
Yesterday I did the inital filing of the divorce papers ($350 just to file!). Luckily it can all be done through the S'vale courthouse so I was able to walk over there on my lunch break (2 miles round trip). Last night Trevor came over to talk about stuff, and it went really well. I am not sure if he just needed some sort of closure by seeing me in person or what, but it all kinda went down business-like. Well, it is good to be well again. Got so much sleep over the last few days that Sunday night I couldn't fall asleep at the required hour so I could get up and be comprehensible at work the next day. Had a series of weird dreams and slept badly, but that's ok.

Sick
I didn't go to work today. I got up and showered with every intention of going in since they really have no way to cover my position if I don't go in, but my throat was so swollen and sore that I just knew I wouldn't make it through the day. My sister needs a job!
My sister Stephanie just got laid off from her job. Her husband got laid off in March. She lives out near Tracy and is looking for Admin or Marketing work in Tracy/Livermore ideally.
