Well we're all moved in and I just wish we'd done this 10 or 20 years ago. The furry kids adore the new flat. Annie loves it. And I have been voluntarily cleaning and doing the laundry daily. Moving
Annie and I and the furry kids are moving! Tomorrow, as a matter of fact. Someone has bought Che Hairball ! He is going to renovate it and then flip it (gut the interior and start over).
WE ARE DOWNSIZING to a 2 bedroom apartment where I please G-d will never have to mow a lawn or pay to replace the water heater again.

Just got a news flash from the NYT that Leonard Nimoy has died.
He was a huge part of the reason I started reading science fiction as a child. And I loved Star Trek - Mr. Spock was my first big TV crush (I was 7 when the show debuted). -

It just keeps on. I had a complete ophthalmic exam including visual field testing. That was fine. But when the ophthalmologist did my follow up check on Friday he discovered I have very beginning indications of macular degeneration. I just...I don't even know how to process this on top of the RA.

The sight of first world citizens agonizing over how they can "catch" Ebola is one I find sad, funny and frankly another indictment of the American educational system, at least when it comes to teaching science.
